Experience
Over 30 years experience, in all types of formal corporate and personal insolvency administrations and corporate restructure. most of which was as a partner of national chartered accounting and restructure firms, Moore Stephens and Cor Cordis.

His experience extends to dealing with and advising businesses which are facing financial stress, and he provides solutions to relevant stakeholders, including secured lenders, creditors and directors.

Advising businesses in restructuring and turnaround, including executing successful restructure strategies, refinance, trade sale and formal insolvency solutions.

Advising on restructuring of distressed loans for borrowers, including negotiation with lenders, analysis and preparation of debt restructure proposals, execution of debt restructure strategies, monitoring and reporting to lenders.

Advising lenders and creditors, including conducting investigating accountant reviews, pre-lending business reviews and limited scope reviews and controllership.

Extensive experience in all forms of formal insolvency appointments, including Voluntary Administration, Liquidation, Receivership and appointments under the Bankruptcy Act.

Experience

Matthew has over 28 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant specialising in restructuring and insolvency assignments and Chartered Secretary.

Matthew’s experience covers all forms of corporate insolvency and personal insolvencies.

He has held senior positions including as an Associate Director with Moore Stephens and Associate Director with Cor Cordis.

In addition, Matthew is a Governance Professional with extensive experience working with ASX listed and CATSI Act registered clients, undertaking roles which include Company Secretary, Chief Financial Officer and Non-Executive Director.
